There are three ticket categories at Lumpini-Stadium, the classic venue for Muay-Thai (thai-boxing) in Bangkok, Thailand.
Priority class tickets come with numbered seating next to the boxing-ring. Tourists, bigshots from the demimonde and small-time celebrities rub shoulders here.
B-class entrance cards provide with sitting on wooden benches quite close to the ring. These tickets are chosen by the better off out for dignified spectator sport including some betting and cold beers.
Third class tickets are for the masses providing standing room behind a wire-fence. Crowds cheering for their favorites, bookmakers communicate by sign-language about rates and wagers. This is were the real action is, cab-drivers gamble away their income, workers get drunk on cheap lint and everybody is an expert on fighting-technics heaving the time of their lives - twice a week throughout the year.
