Sepak Takraw resembles volleyball with the difference that the ball is kicked mainly by foot and the players are not allow to use their hands.
All over South-East Asia you can see people performing this popular sport, often you see players 'just' exercise lone or in groups juggling the ball with foots, breast, shoulders and head.
In Benjasiri Park the city of Bangkok provides with a professional court allowing for the real game.
Sepak Takraw is a team sport where the ball is played over a net, officially played by three team-members respectively, played in two sets where the winning point for a set is 21 points. Points are awarded when the ball touches the ground inside the court of the opposing team or awarded to the opponent side if the ball is not delivered into the adversarial field or a fault is committed.
The sheer acrobatic by the gamesters is breath-taking, the ball is frequently kicked with the foot over head-hight leaving you baffled how the player manages to not dash head first against the ground.
